The wind in the willows

(this post was retrieved, with the help of The Internet Archive, from my retired blog krap.pblogs.gr)

I do not usually suggest movie titles through my blog but this time I decided to make an exception as what I’m about to introduce is neither a movie nor a book but, I’d say, a combination of them.

A couple of days ago, I happened to watch this movie with an excellent friend of mine and it was a very good one.

It is based on Kenneth Grahame’s novel “Wind in the willows” and the story is about animals that live near a river and inside the forrest. One day Mole’s underground house is being destroyed by the Weasels because Toad bought this territory that was part of his inheritance to them. After this insident, Mole, Rat and Badger are trying to get Mole’s home and the rest of the teritorry back from the hands of the evil Weasels and at the same time stop Mr. Toad’s crazyness about motorcars.

I would suggest both the book and the movie to be read and seen respectively!
